Bluewater Festival 2011

Yes, it’s here again.  Over the Easter weekend Shorncliffe plays host to the Bluewater Festival.

Studio SW19 is proud also to have been selected as the official photographer for the event.

Starting on Thursday at 5pm the Festival kicks off with live entertainment and a fabulous fireworks display at 7:15pm.   Our very own photographer, Paul Copsey will then be co-judging the art competition at the St Patricks College, Callan Centre, 60 Park Parade, Shorncliffe.

The festival highlights include the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht race which starts just offshore from Shorncliffe pier at 12pm, skydivers, market stalls, live entertainment, fire twirlers, food stalls and much more.

Erin and Russell at Glengariff, Dayboro

Wow what a magnificient venue Glengariff at Dayboro is! We had so many exciting photographic opportunities there for the wedding of Erin and Russell on the weekend.

The day was perfect, the weather, the cloud formations, the sunset … what more can I say. It was a photographer’s delight.

Congratulations Erin and Russell. We can’t wait for you to return from your honeymoon so that we can enjoy reliving your day with you through your many gorgeous wedding photographs.

The tenth of the tenth of the tenth weekend.

It was the most popular weekend of the year, with a date that nobody could ever forget, the tenth of the tenth of the tenth.

Studio SW19 photographers broke their own record with an exciting 6 weddings in one weekend to photograph.  Added to all the excitement was it was also one of the wettest weekends of the year.  I think you’ll agree however when you see the following selection of photographs that it is indeed lucky to have rain on your wedding day.   Our creativity was overflowing with gorgeous umbrella shots on the pier, glistening pathways reflecting the streetlights, or purely just finding sheltered little coves away from the wind and rain.  Whatever the choice of our brides and grooms they were awarded with fantastic photographs on their special day and we were very proud to be part of that.
